To secure long-term reliability of an air conditioner in a case when R32 is used as a refrigerant, and polyol ester oil having compatibility with R32 is also used.
In an air conditioner which is constituted by connecting a compressor, a four-way valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, expansion means, and an indoor heat exchanger by pipes, and in which a refrigerant is circulated, the refrigerant is R32, and a polyol ester oil is used as a refrigerating machine oil. An outdoor unit having the compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, a drier applying zeolite as its raw material, and a partitioning plate for partitioning the compressor and the outdoor heat exchanger, is disposed, and the drier is connected between the indoor heat exchanger and the expansion means, and disposed at an outdoor heat exchanger side, of the partitioning plate.
