Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of cooling an electric component unit even while only a second blower fan is driven.SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises: a main body unit including a first blower fan which sucks indoor air from an air inlet and blows conditioned air out of an air outlet; and a fan unit mounted to a side part of the main body unit and including a second blower fan which sucks indoor air from an auxiliary air inlet and blows the sucked indoor air out of an auxiliary air outlet. Inside of the main body unit and at a position where air sucked by the first blower fan is circulated, a control section is disposed which controls the first blower fan and the second blower fan. The second blower fan is driven by a drive mechanism different from a drive mechanism of the first blower fan. In the case where the second blower fan of the fan unit is driven for a predetermined time without driving the first blower fan, the control section drives the first blower fan.
