Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can sufficiently perform forced liquid collection control of a refrigerant including a receiver when operation is stopped, can protect a compressor, and can promptly restart operation.SOLUTION: In a refrigerant circuit of an air conditioner 1, a receiver gas vent pipe 30 for leading a gas refrigerant collected in a receiver 25 to the suction side of a compressor 21 is provided together with a receiver gas vent valve 30a that can be opened and closed under control. When operation is stopped, indoor-side liquid collection control for closing the receiver gas vent valve 30a and opening a first expansion valve 26 is performed. After the indoor-side liquid collection control, receiver liquid collection control for opening the receiver gas vent valve 30a and closing the first expansion valve 26 is performed. After that, the receiver gas vent valve 30a is closed, and the compressor 21 is stopped.
