Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which the discharge temperature of a compressor is restrained from increasing by a liquid refrigerant.SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a refrigerant circuit in which a gas-liquid separator, the compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator are sequentially connected in a circular pattern and the refrigerant flows. The refrigerant is a single refrigerant of R32 or a mixed refrigerant including 50 wt.% or more of R32. The gas-liquid separator comprises: a container body; a suction pipe in which one end is positioned in the container body and another end is connected to the compressor; a liquid return hole provided in the suction pipe positioned in the container body; and a heat exchange pipe that contacts an outer shell of the compressor and in which one end and another end are positioned in the container body. The one end of the heat exchange pipe is positioned below the one end of the suction pipe and is positioned above the liquid return hole.
