Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of mixing oil and liquid refrigerant without degrading performance even in conditions in which much liquid refrigerant is accumulated in an accumulator and refrigerator oil and the liquid refrigerant are separated into two layers.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a compressor using refrigerator oil for lubrication and discharging gas refrigerant containing the refrigerator oil; an oil separator separating the refrigerator oil discharged from the compressor from the gas refrigerant; an accumulator storing liquid refrigerant while separating the liquid refrigerant from refrigerant and supplying the gas refrigerant and the refrigerator oil to the compressor; and an oil return circuit delivering the refrigerator oil separated by the oil separator into the accumulator. The oil return circuit includes an oil return pipe connected to a lower portion of the accumulator so that the refrigerator oil flowing into the accumulator flows along an inner circumferential surface of the accumulator.
