Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for allowing the pairing of an indoor unit with the other remote control to be cancelled with remote control operation.SOLUTION: A user operates a main remote control to display a sub remote control he wants to cancel pairing therewith, on a display part 23, and depresses an enter key 22p. When the enter key 22p is depressed, a control part sends a pairing cancelling signal for cancelling the pairing of an indoor unit with the sub remote control, to the indoor unit. A control part receiving the pairing cancelling signal cancels the pairing with the sub remote control and updates pairing information stored in a storage part. Then, the control part sends new pairing information signal generated using the updated pairing information, to the main remote control. The control part receiving the pairing information signal overwrites new pairing information included in the pairing information signal, and stores it in the storage part.
