Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which allows a user to easily and surely recognize a communication error when simultaneously operating a plurality of indoor units by a remote control.SOLUTION: A control unit of a remote control 20, when executing an all indoor unit stop function, transmits an operation stop signal to an indoor unit 10c via a transmitting/receiving unit, and when a stop completion signal is not received even after elapse of predetermined time, the control unit recognizes that a communication error has occurred with the indoor unit 10c. At this time, the control unit of the remote control 20 displays "indoor unit 3: error" on a display unit 23, and notifies that the operation of the indoor unit 10c cannot be stopped due to the communication error with the indoor unit 10c to a user. Then, the control unit does not perform transmission of the operation stop signal to indoor units 10d, 10e, which are after the indoor unit 10c, and controls the display unit 23 so that the display on the display unit 23 does not change from a screen d.
