Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cooling operation efficiency from being reduced during cooling operation while maintaining a supercooling effect.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 100 has two outdoor heat exchangers 11 and 12 with a plurality of heat transfer pipes 11a and 12a passing therethrough. The air conditioner 100 serially connects the two outdoor heat exchangers 11 and 12 during cooling operation or connects the two outdoor heat exchangers 11 and 12 in parallel during heating operation. The air conditioner 100 allows a cooling medium: to flow in the outdoor heat exchangers 11 and 12 through distribution pipes 21a and 22a during the heating operation; and to flow from one outdoor heat exchanger 11 to the other outdoor heat exchanger 12 through bypass pipes La4 different from the distribution pipes 21a and 22a during cooling operation.
