Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively treat dew condensation water generated by a circulation pump.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, a casing of an outdoor unit is vertically divided into two portions by a horizontal partition plate, and a refrigeration circuit chamber and a water circuit chamber are formed in the upper and lower portions of the casing, respectively. The refrigeration circuit chamber includes a compressor, a four-way valve, an expansion valve, an outdoor heat exchanger and the like, and the water circuit chamber includes a water-refrigerant heat exchanger, a tank, a circulation pump and the like. By interconnecting the water-refrigerant heat exchanger, the tank, the circulation pump, a header unit, a terminal and the like by water piping, a water circuit is formed. By switching a refrigeration circuit, a cooling operation and a heating operation of an indoor unit are performed. By circulating cold/hot water in the water circuit, a water cooling operation and a hot water heating operation are performed by the terminal. The circulation pump 22 is fixed by a pump mounting bracket 36, and a drain pan 41 for receiving dew condensation water condensed on the surface of the circulation pump is provided below the pump mounting bracket. The material quality of the drain pan is made of rubber and flexible resin, and the pump mounting bracket is fixed to the horizontal partition plate 2 via the drain pan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
