Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten defrosting time and improve start-up performance from recovery while inhibiting uncomfortable feeling caused by a cycle defrosting operation.SOLUTION: A refrigeration circuit 10 is constituted to enable switching between a normal cycle in which a refrigerant is made to flow in a compressor 11, an indoor heat exchanger 16, an expansion mechanism 14 and an outdoor heat exchanger 13 in this order and a reverse cycle in which the refrigerant is made to flow in reverse order. An indoor fan 31 causes the indoor heat exchanger 16 to generate a flow of indoor air. In a reverse cycle defrosting operation for defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger 13 by making the refrigerant flow in the refrigeration circuit 10 in the reverse cycle, the indoor fan 31 is stopped, and then the reverse cycle defrosting operation is started. In the middle of the reverse cycle defrosting operation, the indoor fan 31 is temporarily operated for a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
