PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can reduce the possibility of damage of a refrigerant circuit.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a cooling operation control section (50a) for performing a cooling operation by controlling a refrigerant circuit; a compressor abnormality determination section (50b) for determining whether or not a compressor (6) has an abnormality on the basis of a temperature or pressure detected by a refrigerant sensor (71) during the cooling operation; a compressor stop section (50c) for stopping the compressor (6) when the abnormality of the compressor (6) is determined; a refrigerant circuit abnormality determination section (50d) for determining whether or not the temperature or pressure detected by the refrigerant sensor (71) is a first predetermined value or higher after the compressor (6) is stopped; and a refrigerant circuit abnormality information section (50e) for informing a user that the refrigerant circuit might be damaged when the determination that the temperature or pressure detected by the refrigerant sensor (71) is equal to or higher than a second predetermined value higher than the first predetermined value is made.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
