Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner capable of appropriately performing operation according to the life rhythm of a user.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a detection unit, a prediction unit, a communication unit, and an illuminance sensor. The detection unit detects presence/absence of a human in an air-conditioning space. The prediction unit predicts bedtime of a user in the air-conditioning space with the usage of the detection result of the detection unit. The communication unit communicates with a terminal device provided in the air-conditioning space to be operated by the user. The illuminance sensor detects illuminance in the air-conditioning space. On the basis of the illuminance in the air-conditioning space detected by the illuminance sensor during a time period from the bedtime predicted by the prediction unit to a time point before a first prescribed time, the air conditioner determines that the user sleeps before the predicted bedtime.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
