Abstract:
To obtain an air conditioner which can inhibit deterioration of a compressor in heating during which a temperature of outside air is relatively low.SOLUTION: An air conditioner according to an embodiment includes: a first compressor provided at a first pipe; a second compressor provided at the first pipe; a first expansion valve provided at a second pipe; a gas-liquid separator provided at the second pipe; a first heat exchanger; and a third pipe. The first pipe has: a first portion which connects the first compressor with the second compressor; and a second portion which connects the first compressor with an outdoor heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger enables heat exchange between the first portion and the second portion. The third pipe connects the gas-liquid separator with the first portion and may introduce a refrigerant from the gas-liquid separator into the first portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
