Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner in which a rear surface of a main body is approached to a wall surface of an installing location for the air conditioner so as to reduce an installing space, a sufficient amount of sucked surrounding air from a suction port arranged in the main body is assured and a projecting space for bottom plate legs can be assured.
CONSTITUTION: A rear surface of a main body 1 is installed near a wall surface (a) of an installing location S. A heat exchanger 4 and a blower facing against the heat exchanger 4 are arranged within the main body. The rear surface of the main body has a projection 3a projecting only at its central part and this projecting part and both sides of the projecting part are provided with suction ports 11 for heat exchanged air, respectively.
