Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the longitudinal size of an indoor unit and make the indoor unit compact by arranging an electrical equipment unit in such a manner that the size along the longitudinal direction of an indoor unit casing of the electrical equipment unit has a length of at least a fixed rate or higher of the longitudinal size of the indoor unit casing.
SOLUTION: An electrical equipment unit 14 is arranged so that the size (a) along the longitudinal direction of an indoor unit casing 1 of the electrical equipment unit 14 has a length of at least one-third or more of the longitudinal size LA of the indoor unit casing 1. The longer the length (a) of this electrical equipment unit 14 is, the more desirable it is. Therefore, it should have a length of at least half or more of the longitudinal size LA of the indoor unit casing 1, more desirably, a length of at least two-third or more of the longitudinal size LA of the indoor unit casing 1. Thereby it is possible to contrive great improvement in the degree of freedom in the arrangement of the electrical equipment unit 14 and great compactness of the indoor unit.
