Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize an air conditioner which has coefficient of performance in an actual unit which is not inferior to the case of HCFC22 refrigerant and a substitute refrigerant can be safely used as an operating refrigerant by utilizing features of the substitute refrigerant of various types instead of the HCFC22 refrigerant which might destroy an ozonosphere.
CONSTITUTION: The air conditioner comprises a fluid driver 3 of a reversible pump, an indoor heat exchanger 1 connected to the pump via a tube 7, in which a channel A sealed with a refrigerant (a), a compressor 15, an outdoor heat exchanger 11 and an expansion valve 17 are connected by a tube 19, a channel sealed with a refrigerant (b) is provided, and an intermediate heat exchanger 5 for heat exchanging the refrigerant (a) with the refrigerant (b) and provided on the ways of the tubes 7, 19. The refrigerant (a) has a pressure loss in the tube 7 less than that of HFC134a and a mixture of HFC32 and HFC125 at a ratio of 50%. The refrigerant (b) has a more theoretical coefficient of performance determined according to thermal property value than that of a refrigerant containing a mixture of HFC32 and HFC125 at a ratio of 50% and is a HFC134a refrigerant.
