Abstract:
There is provided an air conditioner that can easily perform detection of a refrigerant circulation amount accurately and properly with a simple structure and that can further improve a basic function including an accuracy and a response characteristic of a control for achieving stable maintenance of a room temperature. In this air conditioner, the main part of an electronic control system including a controller 70 performing an air-conditioning control in a conventional air conditioner is improved so that flow detected information from a hot-wire flow sensor 72, refrigerant operation state information from a refrigerant operation state sensor 71, and temperature information from an Rc resistance value sensor 81 are added in external information detection means. Therefore, detection of the refrigerant circulation amount can be carried out more accurately and properly, a pressure control (forming discharge capacity control means) of a crank chamber pressure Pc is properly carried out through a gas feed passage by a control valve 43 of a variable displacement compressor provided in a refrigerant circulation circuit, the control valve being controllably driven by the controller 70 through a drive circuit 80, and the basic function including an engine load control and an air-conditioning control is remarkably improved.
