To provide an air conditioner including an electrostatic atomizer capable of emitting mist for a short time after start of operation and stably emitting large amount of mist.

In the air conditioner, the electrostatic atomizer is installed on the downstream side of a suction port, on the upstream side of a heat exchanger located on the front face lower part out of heat exchangers or the upstream side of a heat exchanger located on the back face and above a drain pan. A water supply of the electrostatic atomizer comprises: a Peltier unit; a heat release part coming into contact with a heat release face of the Peltier unit; and a cooling part coming into contact with a cooling face positioned on the side opposite to the heat release face and generating condensation water serving as water to be supplied to a water application electrode. The heat release part is arranged to face the heat exchanger.
