Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make warm air reach the foot of a user.SOLUTION: An air conditioner, which blows out warm air indoors, includes: a heat exchanger 4; a fan 5 for blowing out air heated by the heat exchanger 4 indoors as warm air; a compressor 54 for sending out a cooling medium to the heat exchanger 4; a vertical wind direction changing blade 10 for vertically changing the direction of warm air; a blowout temperature detection device 52 for detecting the blowout temperature of warm air; an indoor temperature detection device 51 for detecting indoor temperature; a controller 53 for a user's setting a set temperature which is a target indoor temperature; and a control device 50. The control device 50, while controlling the rotation frequency of the fan 5 and the output of the compressor 54 in such a manner that the indoor temperature becomes equal to the set temperature, increases the rotation frequency of the fan 5 additionally when the temperature difference of the blowout temperature and the set temperature surpasses the predetermined temperature difference so that warm air can reach the floor surface indoors.
