Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise generated at indoor units when two-phase transmittance of refrigerant through a hydraulic adjustment expansion valve is carried out at an air conditioner comprising an outdoor unit; a plurality of indoor units including indoor heat exchangers; relay units for changing over a plurality of indoor heat exchangers individually to cause them to act as either a refrigerant evaporator or a radiator; and a liquid refrigerant communication pipe and a gas refrigerant communication pipe connecting the outdoor unit with the indoor units through the relay unit.SOLUTION: Relay units (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) are provided with relay refrigerant coolers (75a, 75b, 75c, 75d) for cooling refrigerant of which pressure is reduced at a fluid pressure adjustment expansion valve (26).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
