PURPOSE: To drop dispersed drain water into a base before glowing and prevent generation of abnormal sounds by a method wherein a semi-circular water-cut guide is equipped on the upper face of a fan cover.

CONSTITUTION: The main frame 1 of the integral type air-conditioning machine is divided and formed into two partitions of an indoor side 4 and an outdoor side 5 by a partitioning plate 3 provided on the base 2. A casing 7, arranged at the back surface of a cooler 6, provided at the front surface of the indoor side 4, is connected to an air blow-off port 8 and forms an air path together with the partitioning plate 3. A condenser 10 forms the air path by the fan cover 11, a bell mouth 12 and a louver unit 23, provided at the outdoor side 5. The water- cut guide 20, provided on the upper face of the fan cover 11, has the semi-circular configuration. A sirocco fan 13 is provided in the indoor side 4 and a propeller fan 14 is integrated with a ring 25 and is provided in the outdoor side 5. Fine drops of the drain water, dispersed to the part, are dropped from the right end of the water-cut guide 24 by the semi-circular water-cut guide provided on the upper face of the fan cover 11 and an air pressure produced by the propeller fan 14 thereby preventing the generation of the abnormal sounds.
