Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus that prevents an overcurrent through a charging electrical path for charging a capacitor of a power supply circuit of an outdoor unit and thus prevents damage to components.SOLUTION: The air conditioning apparatus includes: a first outdoor side power supply circuit 14 having a clamp circuit 14f disposed between two DC power lines LH, LL connecting a rectification circuit 14c and an inverter circuit, and including a clamp capacitor 14f3; an indoor side power supply circuit 22; an indoor side control circuit 23 supplied with power from the indoor side power supply circuit 22; a switch K2R controlled on/off by the indoor side control circuit 23; a second outdoor side power supply circuit 12 using the clamp capacitor 14f3 for voltage smoothing; and a charging electrical path P1 including the DC power lines LH, LL, made/broken by the switch K2R, and adapted to charge the clamp capacitor 14f3 in starting the second outdoor side power supply circuit 12. The charging electrical path P1 is provided with protection means 26 for limiting an overcurrent when the two DC power lines LH, LL short-circuit.
