Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable easy assembly and enlarge an effective space in a cabin by forming the housing and the duct of an air conditioning unit monolithically and mounting the monolithic assembly to the surface member of a body side wall at the cabin side. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioning unit 13 has a blower 15 and an evaporator 16 at predetermined positions, and an inner member 9 is provided with the housing 14 and the duct 17 of the air conditioning unit 13. Then, the inner member 9 is mounted to an automobile body, thereby enabling the arrangement of the air conditioning unit 13 and the duct 17 within the closed section of an automobile side wall 6. Therefore, an effective space in a cabin is not re duced. Also, the housing 14 and the dust 17 of the air conditioning unit 13 are monolithically formed and only the mounting of a single assembly to the inner member 9 is enough, thereby ensuring easy assembly work.
