PURPOSE: To make the reduction of fuel consumption and accurate automatic air conditioning control compatible with each other, by stopping a compressor that supplies coolant to an evaporator when the temperature of induction air is detected and the detected temperature goes below the blowoff temperature.
CONSTITUTION: For example, when an inside and outside air switching door 3 opens an outside air induction port 1 during automatic air conditioning control, the outside air taken in by a blower fan 5 is sent to an evaporator 7 and the outside air temperature from an outside air intake port 1 is applied to a controller 11 as the detected temperature T1 by a temperature sensor 20 that is provided at the flow-in side of the evaporator 7. Then, when the controller 11 determines that the detected temperature T1 goes below the computed blowoff temperature T2, it disconnects power for an electromagnetic clutch 6a and stops a compressor 6. As a result, the automatic temperature adjusting control which offers the computed blowoff temperature when the compressor 6 is stopped from being disabled and fuel consumption can be saved.
