To provide an air conditioning device equipped with an active filter which can easily detect active filter failure at the air conditioning device side and minimize influence on operations of the air conditioning device.
The air conditioning device includes an outdoor unit 10 and an active filter 40 suppressing a harmonic wave current. The active filter includes an operating means 43 and a stopping means 44 for respectively starting and stopping the active filter by a detected current of a current sensor 41, a failure determining means 45 of the active filter, and a failure output means 42 outputting failure occurrence information of the active filter to the outdoor unit side. The outdoor unit includes a contact input means 11 receiving the failure occurrence information, a failure determining count means 13 counting the failure occurrence information, and an operation determining means 14 determining the operation of the outdoor unit and giving an order to a control means 15. The failure determining means gives redundancy to failure determination with respect to the active filter, and the outdoor unit also gives redundancy to failure determination with respect to the active filter.
