A control device 4 determines whether the air conditioning device is used in a conventional power-supply voltage area, or is used in a high power-supply voltage area, based on a voltage value detected by a direct-current bus bar voltage detection device 10. In the use in the high power-supply voltage area, a current limit value responding to a value of the direct-current bus bar voltage detection device 10 is delivered, and the compressor is protected by the delivered current limit value.
