PURPOSE: To enable execution of air-conditioning throughout a wide range and to enable execution of air-conditioning following a rapid change in a thermal load by a method wherein when a thermal load detecting sensor located in the vicinity of a window in a room detects a thermal load exceeding a set value, a discharge direction of air is pointed to the window side, and when it detects a thermal load being below the set value, the discharge direction of air is pointed to the opposite side to a window.
CONSTITUTION: A control part 10 inputs a thermal load signal from a thermal load detecting sensor 1, for example, inputs an illumination value. When a time zone (b) of a thermal load is below a set value, control is carried out by means of a moving vane 9 of a direction varying means 7 so that the longitudinal direction of a speed distribution 13 is reciprocated within a range of from a vertical direction to a horizontal direction in which the longitudinal direction thereof is pointed to an interior part on the opposite side to a window 3. In the case of a time zone (a) wherein a thermal load exceeds the set value, control is made so that the longitudinal direction thereof is reciprocated within a range of from a horizontal direction on the window 3 side to a horizontal direction pointed to an interior part on the opposite side to the window 3.
