PURPOSE: To contrive the improvement of safety from the aspects of sanitation in an air conditioning device as well as the reduction of functions so far required for a refrigerating means.

CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning unit is provided with a refrigerating means X1 for performing refrigerating cycle operation, a cooling means X2 for cooling air AA being supplied to an area Z to be air conditioned and air IA staying in the area Z with the chilled air produced by the refrigerating cycle and a moisture absorption means X3 for absorbing and removing moisture from the air AA and IA being cooled by the cooling means X2. A regeneration means X4 is further provided to regenerate the moisture absorption means X3 affected by the hot air exhaust from the refrigerating cyclic, the retained heat of exhaust gas from a refrigerating cycle operating engine E, the retained heat of an engine cooling medium W and the retained heat of exhaust gas from a refrigerant regenerating combustion means B.
