PURPOSE: To shorten operating time of a refrigerator utilizing a seasonal change in the open air temperature by assembling a closed evaporation type cooling coil into an outdoor machine and providing a compression type chiller at the later stage of said coil.
CONSTITUTION: In a summer season, cooling water that is at 32°C or more as a result of heat absorption by an indoor machine 12 reaches an outdoor machine 1 and is further cooled to about 29°C by the open air at a wet-bulb temperature of about 26°C sucked by an air fan 2 as the open-air passes through an evaporation type cooling coil 3 and by the cooling effect of evaporation latent heat of water of about 28°C spreaded from a water spraying device 9. The cooling water is further cooled to 21°C upon passing a compression type chiller 4 and is returned to the indoor machine 12 by a circulation pump 11. Additionally, in winter the wet-bulb temperature of the open air is lowered to 10°C or less and the cooling water passing through the evaporation type cooling coil 3 is cooled to 15°C or less. Accordingly, the indoor machine 12 can also cool the air to 18°C only utilizing the effect of a water-air condenser 15 without operation of a compression type direct expansion condenser 21. Therefore, operation power of a compressor 17 disposed in the indoor machine 12 can be saved to achieve the object of air conditioning without operation of a refrigerator.
