The OFF control instruction from an automatic control means 19 for compressor electric motor driving state is detected to estimate the load of the compressor electric motor 3 by a compressor load state estimation means 20. A stop processing procedure conformed to the estimation result of load is selected from a stop processing procedure storage means 21, and the compressor electric motor 3 or a fan driving electric motor 9 is driven by a stop processing procedure selection executing means 22, whereby the electric motor 3 is stopped in the state where the load of the motor 3 is reduced (the motor 3 is often driven at a low speed). The load at the time of restarting is preliminarily reduced in this way, whereby the excessive load in restarting is prevented to facilitate the restart of the motor 3.
