To provide an air conditioning system capable of attaining a comfortable sauna environment by sufficiently performing heating and humidifying of an indoor space such as a bathroom with minimized energy consumption.
The air conditioning system comprises a refrigerant circuit 23 formed by successively connecting a compressor 24 for compressing refrigerant, a using-side heat exchanger 25 in which the refrigerant releases heat, an expansion mechanism 26 for expanding the refrigerant, and a heat source-side heat exchanger 27 in which the refrigerant absorbs heat, a circulation fan 20 for sucking air through a suction port 16 opened in an indoor space, for example, a bathroom 4 and blowing out the air through an outlet port 17 opened in the bathroom 4; and a mist generator 30 for generating fine water drops or mist. The inside of the bathroom 4 is heated by operation of a heat pump by releasing the heat absorbed by the refrigerant in the heat source-side heat exchanger 27 to the air sent by the circulation fan 20 in the using-side heat exchanger 25, and humidified by supplying the mist generated in the mist generator 30 into the bathroom 4, whereby a high-temperature, high-humidity sauna environment is provided.
