Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system which reuses unnecessary warm air in a battery pack and thereby reduces power consumption during heating.SOLUTION: An air-conditioning system adjusts a temperature in a passenger compartment of a vehicle 1 equipped with a battery for supplying electric power to a motor for running. The air-conditioning system includes: an air-conditioning unit 6 having a heater device 9 which has a heat source 23 and generates warm air; a battery pack 3 for housing the battery; an air duct 5 which is connected with the upstream side relative to the heater device 9 and communicates with the battery pack 3; and ventilation means 10 which sends air in the battery pack 3 to the air-conditioning unit 6 through the air duct 5.
