Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air contamination and liquid backflow according to need because a risk of the air contamination due to out-of-liquid is present depending on a posture of an infusion tube and also the risk of the liquid backflow is present in the troubles such as falling when giving an intravenous drip while moving.SOLUTION: An air contamination prevention and liquid backflow prevention device comprises: a member formed by integrating an upper lid (1) having an inlet tube (1a), a lower lid (2) having an outlet tube (2a) and a cylindrical body (3) sandwiched by both lids; and a float valve (4) being put in this. The float valve (4) falls down and closes the outlet when air comes in, and the float valve (4) goes up on the top and closes the inlet when going to flow backward. Even if the device inclines, the float valve (4) may not be misaligned and is adapted to behave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
