Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the air control device of an air pump capable of easily regulating a delivering air quantity of the air pump.
CONSTITUTION: An electromagnet drive mechanism is mounted on a housing capable of advancing/retreating toward a magnet, in an air pump having electromagnetic drive mechanisms 11, 13, 14, a magnet 17 supported on the top end part of an arm 16, and a diaphragm 18 connected to the middle part of the arm, and reciprocatingly operating the magnet by electromagnetic action between the electromagnetic drive mechanisms and the magnet for sucking and discharging the air by expanding and shrinking operation of the diaphragm. Consequently, the electromagnetic drive mechanism is advancingly/retreatingly operated so as to vary a gap dimension between a core 13 and the magnet 17, and reciprocating operational speed of the magnet is varied so as to vary the air delivering quantity.
