Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insure bearing capacity and durability and attain miniaturization by setting the outer diameter of a rolling bearing arranged on the output side of a crankshaft supported on both sides through rolling bearings on both sides of a crank case larger than the rolling bearing arranged on the other side, and forming the bearings of a camshaft into sliding bearings.
SOLUTION: An outer diameter of a ball bearing 25 fitted on the output side of a crankshaft 5, namely fitted to a case cover 18 is set larger than the outer diameter of a ball bearing 25 arranged on the cooling fan 28 side, and favorably the ball bearing 25 is set so as to have the outer diameter equal to the shaft distance between the crankshaft 5 and the camshaft 7 or larger than it. Meanwhile, a cam driving gear 14 is to the output side shaft 5a1 of the crankshaft 5, a governor driving gear 13 is to the shaft 5a2 on the cooling fan 28 side, respectively rotatably fitted, a cam gear 8 is engaged with the cam driving gear 14, and hence turning force of the crankshaft 5 can be transmitted to the camshaft 7. The cam shaft 7 is supported on both sides with sliding bearings 7a, 7b of the same outer diameter respectively fitted to a crank case 17 and the case cover 18.
