Title:
AIR-COOLED HEAT SINK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3123335
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title air-cooled heat sink having low resistance value by fitting metallic fins over pipes arranged at mutual intervals.
CONSTITUTION: The title heat sink 1 is fitted to respective heat pipes 31 over the same 31 arranged at mutual intervals. Thus, the difference between the temperatures in the parts coming into contact with these heat pipes 31 and the peripheries 32a can be diminished thereby enabling the temperature even at the peripheries 32a to be maintained high to the atmospheric temperature. Through these procedures, this heat sink 1, while maintaining the temperature on the main surface as an abutting surface at the same value as that in the conventional case, can increase the radiating calories. That is, the heat resistance value of the heat sink 1 can be lowered.
