Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-cooling engine and an engine work machine capable of providing high cooling efficiency, in the engine in which a governor controlled by cooling air is used.SOLUTION: When the number of rotation of an engine is increased, a throttle valve shaft 82 rotates according to the operation and, therefore, an air-cooling engine comes to a state of fig. 3(b). In such a state, the uppermost part of a wind receiving plate 21 is moved to the left side in the figure (air channel 13 side). When a load becomes large during the operation and the number of rotation decreases, wind power of cooling air C is lowered and, therefore, the power received by the wind receiving plate 21 from the cooling air C is weakened. In such a case, the wind receiving plate 21 is turned counterclockwise by reaction force of a governor spring 83, the uppermost part of the wind receiving plate 21 moves toward a second position so as to be exhibited in fig. 3(c). In such a case, the throttle valve shaft 82 is turned counterclockwise and, therefore, the throttle is opened. During the operation, a carburetor 8 is controlled between the state of fig.3(b) and the state of fig.3(c) by using a wind power governor 20.
