Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the impact vibration at stop in an air cylinder conducting a high speed operation.
CONSTITUTION: An air cylinder is formed as a double piston by use of two pistons 2, 3, both end parts of a cylinder 1 have compressed air feed and discharge holes 10, 11 continued to the internal space, the double piston is moved by the pressure difference between two internal spaces A, B formed on both the sides, and check valves 7, 9 for supplying compressed air from the high pressure internal space to the low pressure internal space are provided in positions where the double piston is close to the cylinder end part. When the double piston is situated on the cylinder end part, the compressed air feed and exhaust hole corresponding to the cylinder end part is continued to the gap space C of the double piston. The compressed air supplied to the compressed air feed and exhaust hole is guided to the gap space C of the double piston, and further supplied to the internal space on the cylinder end part side through other check valves 6, 8.
