To provide a highly efficient air diffuser facilitating upsizing and realizing high performance, energy saving, space saving, and maintenance free by improving gas/liquid mixing and stirring efficiency.
The air diffuser 15 comprises a cylindrical passage tube 8 through which the liquid flows and which has a static mixer 9 therein disposed in such a way that the longitudinal direction is made substantially vertical, and a gas jetting part 12 jetting and supplying the gas to the inside of the passage tube 8 through a gas feed line 11 on the lower end side of the passage tube 8. The gas jetting part 12 including a static mixer 13 therein supplies the gas. The liquid is introduced inside the passage tube 8 from a liquid introducing part 14 on the lower side of the passage tube 8. The gas and liquid rise in the passage tube 8 in a parallel flow, both of them are put into gas/liquid contact with each other inside the passage tube 8, and they are discharged in the liquid from the upper end side of the passage tube 8.
