Abstract:

To provide an air supply/exhaust duct capable of suppressing growth and proliferation of fungi even when there adhere the fungi such as bacteria and the true fungi (including mold), and further capable of suppressing production of toxicoses, allergic diseases, and infectious diseases.

An air intake/exhaust duct includes a base material layer 2, and an antibacterial layer 1 located inside the base material layer 2 and containing an antibacterial agent. For the base material layer 2 there are used a paper raw material, a metal sheet, and an aluminum foil, etc. For the antibacterial agent there are used existing ones such as hinokitiol, a Japanese horseradish, mustard, and garlic. Even when any fungus adheres to the inside of the air intake/exhaust duct, the antibacterial agent bled or bloomed from the antibacterial layer adheres to the fungus to suppress the growth and proliferation of the fungus.
