Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the torsional deformation of shielding member without increasing its weight.
SOLUTION: An air entrainment preventing device for an open car is formed of a shielding member 2 disposed behind an occupant's seat 1 in order to prevent air entrainment to the seat part of an occupant. In this case, the shielding member 2 is composed of a hollow body formed by jointing front face plates 8, 31 and rear face plates 9, 32, and reinforcing ribs 10, 22, 33 extended in the cross direction of the car are provided between the front face plates 8, 31 and rear face plates 9, 32 so as to connect the opposed walls of the front face plates 8, 31 and rear face plates 9, 32 by these reinforcing ribs 10, 11, 33.
