PURPOSE: To control an air feed valve by applying the upper course side pressure of a gas passage to one end face of a piston type valve which is brought into pressure contact with the valve seat of the inner hole of a valve body within a defined range of pressure difference, while applying a lower course side pressure to the other end face thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A powder/grain body storage tank 16 is connected to the outlet side of a tank 15 storing a high pressure air via an air feed valve 1. A high pressure side port 4 which is connected to the outlet side piping 18 of the tank 15 is provided on the upper part of the inner hole of a valve body 2, while a low pressure side port 5 which is connected to a piping 19 branched off of a piping 14 between a selector valve 12 and a check valve 13 is provided on the lower part of the inner hole. Hence, the valve is balanced and held in a closed condition within the pressure difference between the pressures applied to both side end faces of the valve body, thereby, making the feed of air smooth while automatically detecting a trouble such as clogging, etc.
