Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently fill air in a tire provided with a specially shaped wheel by affording communication between the interior of wheel mounted on a carriage and an air filling port of a filling dome and making the lower inner periphery of wheel engage with the seal surface of carriage. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 14 is secured fixedly to the upper end of a piston rod 13 received vetically movably in a lift cylinder 4. A seal packing 17 abutting on the inner surface of a rim 16 constituting a wheel 15 is additionally provided on the seal surface 14a of the upper surface of carriage 14. On the other hand, a filling dome 24 is secured fixedly to the lower end of a suspending rod 23 and formed with a dome chamber 27, while the dome chamber 27 communicates with a pneumatic pipe(not shown) through a bore of the suspending rod 23. Also, the filling dome 24 is provided on the central portion with a center cone 38 and on one end with a wheel position detecting cylinder 39 respectively. Thus, air can be efficiently filled in the tire 21.
