Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air filter means which prevents the passage of small particles without collecting the particles on or into a filter medium and convects air by a slight pressure difference with natural ventilation, i.e., without requiring force air ventilation.
CONSTITUTION: This air filter assembly consists of a frame assembly 2 and a strand fabric of microfilaments having maximum 30 μm in the cross-section in the direction of air flow passing a fabric filter medium 3. The strands are arranged apart a spacing of maximum 20 μm. The respective strands have smooth outside surfaces and the fabric filter medium 3 is arranged in the frame assembly 2. The filter medium 3 affords the air filter of a non-entraining type which lessens clogging. The passage of pollen and/or dust particles through the filter is lessened and, on the other hand, the free passage of air of the air filter is allowed.
