To provide an air filter for a gas turbine to be excellently recycled on condition that the air filter is recycled by ultrasonic washing.
The air filter 1 for a gas turbine is formed by laminating a first filtering material 2 and a second filtering material 3 for restricting deformation of the first filtering material 2 and having an effective opening diameter larger than that of the first filtering material 2, and passes air sucked inside from outside the gas turbine 100 to catch fine particles contained in the air. The first filtering material 2 is made of unwoven fabric formed from polypropylene fiber, and the second filtering material 3 is made of unwoven fabric formed from polyester fiber coated with a polyolefinic resin in a surface thereof, and the second filtering material 3 and the first filtering material 2 are laminated in this order from an upstream side in relation to a flow of the air. The first filtering material 2 and the second filtering material 3 as structural elements of the filter 1 respectively have excellent chemicals resistance.
