Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter, which is manufactured by using an unwoven sheet used by being incorporated in a package air conditioner or the like used for air conditioning of a building and store, and is manufactured relatively inexpensively and reduces a process failure in mounting a filter material on a frame.SOLUTION: An air filter 1 is formed by sticking an unwoven sheet 3 in a frame shape to a periphery of a pleated filter material 2. The unwoven sheet 3 is formed of polyester with a thickness of 2-3 mm, and is previously coated with a hot melt 4 on one surface. The hot melt 4 is olefine-based, melt viscosity at 180°C is 4,200-4,800 (mPa s), and an open time is 180-200 (seconds). As the unwoven sheet 3 is coated with the hot melt 4 with a thickness of 700-1,000 μm, adhesion between the filter material 2 and the unwoven sheet 3 can be obtained easily, strongly, and securely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
