Abstract:
To provide an easily manufacturable air filter with superior collection performance.
The air filter 100 has a plurality of filter units 2 and an outer frame 10 surrounding the filter units 2. The filter units 2 each include a pleated filter medium 4 and a support frame 6 holding the peripheral edge 4e of the filter medium 4. Two adjacent filter units 2, 2 form a "V" shape. The filter units 2 are connected together at portions of the respective support frames 6. The filter units 2 are fitted in the outer frame 10 such that the surfaces of all the filter units 2 are tilted relative to the opening surface of the outer frame 10.
