To provide an air filter, capable of securing airtightness between a filter frame and a contact face without separately providing a seal member such as a gasket.
An air filter 10 is disposed inside a casing 21 of a fan filter unit 20. The air filter 10 is constituted of a filter medium pack 11 and a frame-shaped member 12 surrounding the filter medium pack 11. The frame-shaped member 12 includes a flange part 15 disposed to protrude outward from an edge of one of openings. The flange part 15 is pressed to a ceiling face 23 by a case flange part 25 of the casing 21, and thus the air filter 10 is fitted to the ceiling face 23. The flange part 15 has elasticity, and hence tightly adheres to the ceiling face 23 to secure airtightness between the flange part 15 and the ceiling face 23.
