To provide an air flow control device in a welding work room capable of suppressing a weld unstable phenomenon caused by shading of laser by controlling a direction of fume generated in laser welding.
A laser welding robot 40 is disposed inside a welding work room 10 having a suction exhaust port 23 on a ceiling wall 15 and outside air intake ports 21, 22 on right and left side walls 13, 14, for performing dust collection in a room internal environment by forced exhaust from the suction exhaust port 23. When a work is welded by emitting laser light in such an attitude that the axis of a welding head 30 is tilted, the direction of a dust collection resulting flow generated between the tip of the welding head 30 and the work is controlled by switching the outside air intake ports 21, 22 to be used, to thereby avoid shading of laser light caused by fume.
