Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow rate measuring device, improving flow rate detecting sensitivity by making more air stably flow into a diversion passage, and realizing stabilization of a flow rate signal, then ensuring high accuracy in flow rate measurement.
SOLUTION: The diversion passage 4 is constituted of a diversion passage 5 at an upstream side and a diversion passage 6 at a down stream side of which the passage directions are the extension directions of a detecting flow tube 3, where they are formed U-shaped by communicating them via a curving part 7. An inflow port 8 is constructed by removing the upstream wall in the mainstream direction A of the diversion passage 5 and both side walls perpendicular to the mainstream direction A of the diversion passage 5 and the extension direction of the detecting flow tube 3. Also, an air introducing surface 11 is constructed by forming the wall surface at the down stream in the main stream direction A of the diversion passage 5 at the inflow port 8, to a curved shape gradually displacing to the upper stream, with respect to the extension direction of the detecting flow tube 3.
